Alex Szokalski is a graduate of the National Security College at ANU. During his studies, he completed coursework and research components of the masters’ program.
Alex’s research at NSC examined the psychology of lone wolf terrorism, in particular, the psychosocial mechanisms that motivate individuals to carry out lone acts of violence.
Alex continues to research the field of terrorism and currently works as a private consultant. Aside from this, Alex’s other research interests include: cybersecurity, biological/chemical weaponry, nuclear weaponry, health security & natural disaster management.
