Amrita Jash

Amrita Jash is the editor-in-chief at IndraStra Global, New York and a doctoral candidate in Chinese Studies at the Centre for East Asian Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, India.

Amrita obtained her MPhil (2013) in Chinese Studies, JNU, MA (2011) in International Relations with a specialisation in Politics from JNU and a BA (2009) majoring in Political Science and Psychology from the Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi University. She is a recipient of Junior Research (2011) and Senior Research fellowships (2015) in International and Area Studies, from the Government of India. In 2014, She was a Guest Faculty at the Department of Chinese, Sikkim University.

She was the Indian student delegate under the US-INDIA-CHINA Initiative, at the School of Advanced International Studies, Johns Hopkins University.

In 2014, she was selected for the 2014 Seminar on Chinese Translation by the Ministry of Commerce, People’s Republic of China. Her research interests are: China’s foreign policy, China-Japan, China-India, Strategic and security issues. Her publications are available at: www.amritajash.in.
