Dr Amy Parker is a Satellite Operations and Data Manager with the CSIRO Centre for Earth Observation and Vice-President of Earth Observation Australia.
At CSIRO, she manages the NovaSAR-1 National Research Facility including Australia’s requirements for satellite tasking, downlink, data processing, and distribution. Amy also leads the Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Science Initiative project under the CSIRO Space Technology Future Science Platform. She is a SAR specialist and has worked with Geoscience Australia and Curtin University, where she currently holds an Australian Research Council Discovery Early Career Researcher fellowship.
