Dr Brigitte Lewis is a research officer for GeVARA: the Gendered Violence and Abuse Research Alliance at RMIT University. Dr Lewis has a PhD in Sociology from The University of Melbourne and is an established researcher, writer and blogger on issues of sexuality, gender and justice. Her recent articles include “Creating Consent Culture” for Overland Magazine, and a chapter “Women Want to (Fuck) too” in Doing It: Women Tell the Truth About Great Sex (University of Queensland Press).
