Byron Fay

Byron is a climate change specialist with the International Savanna Fire Management Initiative. He has over eight years’ experience working in international and domestic climate policy and climate change aid.

He represented Australia in the Paris Agreement negotiations and worked as an adviser to the Co-Chair of the Green Climate Fund Board and to Tim Storer, former independent Senator of South Australia. Byron holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons), Bachelor of Arts (Politics/Theatre) from The Australian National University, and is currently undertaking a Masters of Public Policy at the University of Oxford. He is also a proud descendant of the Darug nation.
