Camilla Burkot is a Research Officer at the Development Policy Centre at Crawford School of Public Policy, The Australian National University, where she works primarily on research related to Australian aid effectiveness and edits the Devpolicy blog.
Before joining ANU, she was involved with qualitative and implementation science research projects which took her to PNG and Eastern and Southern Africa, focusing on HIV/TB co-infection and malaria.
Her interests also include the ethics and politics of global health and development field research, medical anthropology, and the intersections of religion and health.
Camilla has a background in social anthropology (BA Hons, University of Cambridge) and holds a Master of Public Health from Columbia University.
