Carin Holroyd

Dr Carin Holroyd is an Associate Professor of Political Studies at the University of Saskatchewan, and President of the Japan Studies Association of Canada. She is author of seven books, most recently, of Green Japan: Environmental Technologies, Innovation Policies and the Pursuit of Green Growth.

A graduate of the University of British Columbia and the University of Waikato (New Zealand), Carin has written extensively on digital media, innovation policies in East Asia, and the role of government in shaping economic development in Japan and East Asia. She is currently writing a textbook on the political and economic development of East Asia.
