Charrlotte Adelina is a Young Professional at the Skill Development & Employment and Urbanization Verticals at NITI Aayog (National Institution for Transforming India), Government of India.
At NITI, she conducts policy research and works on the Aspirational Districts Programme in the skill development sector. Prior to this, Ms Adelina was a researcher with the Indian Institute for Human Settlements, where she studied the socio-economic determinants of urban food security and the ‘informal’ street vending economies in the city of Bangalore. She has formal training in Development Studies from the Indian Institute of Technology in Madras. Her research interests lie in the field of urban sociology, especially on issues relating to urban poverty and economy.
