Cheryl Wong Hui Min is currently a research assistant at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. She graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor in Environmental Studies, and her interest lies in water management and political ecology.
Cheryl was also a sustainability fellow at the Australian National University (ANU), as part of the International Alliance of Research Universities Programme. At ANU, Cheryl undertook a thorough review of the Inter-Hall Sustainability competition, in order to determine the best way to reinvigorate the competition. Through interviews with ANU staff and student campus residents, she published a report that would allow for the development of an implementation and marketing program for the challenge.
Cheryl was also a nature trail guide for the National Geographic Green Carpet Awards, which is an annual photojournalistic competition that engages youths in nature and wildlife conservation. Cheryl was also a field assistant at Beach House Pictures for the filming of Channel News Asia’s nature documentary “Wild City”.
