Cukkoo is a Research Assistant in the ANU Centre for Social Research and Methods, where she works on models of Australian Government taxes and social welfare payments.

Her research interests are in the areas of quantitative public policy analysis, economic modelling and applied statistics. Prior to her current role, Cukkoo worked at the National Centre for Social and Economic Modelling (NATSEM) at the University of Canberra. At NATSEM, her focus was on housing market analysis. Cukkoo has a Graduate Diploma in Statistics and Operations Research from RMIT University.
