Dr Denghua Zhang is a research fellow in The Australian National University’s College of Asia and the Pacific.
Denghua Zhang joined ANU DPA as a research fellow in January 2018. He completed his PhD program on Chinese foreign policy and trilateral aid cooperation at ANU in 2017. Prior to that he had a decade-long work experience as a former diplomat.
His research mainly focuses on international relations, development studies, Chinese foreign policy, foreign aid, trilateral aid cooperation and Asia-Pacific studies. He has published more than twenty academic papers including recently with The Pacific Review, Third World Quarterly, The Round Table, Asia & the Pacific Policy Studies and Security Challenges.
