Fiona Jenkins

Fiona Jenkins is a philosopher and Associate Professor at the ANU Centre for Moral, Social and Political Theory and Convenor of the ANU Gender Institute.

Her current research covers two projects, the first is on Judith Butler, which focuses on questions of political legitimacy, violence, and non-violence in post-national frameworks. The second focuses on gender equity and ideas of ‘excellence’ in academic disciplines. She teaches on the philosophy of gender, contemporary French philosophy, the philosophy of Freidrich Nietzsche, and on radical democratic theory.
