Giles Hirst is Professor of Leadership in the Research School of Management at ANU College of Business and Economics and an affiliate at ANU Global Institute for Women’s Leadership.
His primary research interests focus on leadership, innovation and creativity at work. His research connects psychological analyses of leadership and innovation with technology.
He has received funding from the Australian Research Council’s Discovery and Linkage Project schemes as well as organisations including the Australian Department of Defence. His research has been published in internationally recognised outlets including Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Leadership Quarterly.
