Harry Minas is Head of the Global and Cultural Mental Health Unit, University of Melbourne, and Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Mental Health Systems. He has worked extensively on post-disaster mental health response, mental health system development and human rights in Asia, and on mental health of immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers in Australia.
He has served on multiple Commonwealth and State committees and advisory groups and has been an adviser to Ministries of Health and Social Affairs in several countries in the region. He was a development partner on the ASEAN Mental Health Taskforce and continues to work with ASEAN on its sustainable development program in non-communicable disease.
