Henrike Donner is a Senior Lecturer in Anthropology at Goldsmiths, University of London.

Her research is based on long-term fieldwork in India, where she has worked with middle-class families in Kolkata, West Bengal for more than two decades. Her publications include books and articles on middle-class maternities, changing family life, love and marriage as well as consumption and urban restructuring.
