Jacqueline Westermann is a researcher and editor with the International Program at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute, where she mainly focuses on Europe, Russia and women, peace and security.
Prior to joining ASPI, Jacky was a program assistant at the Warsaw office of The German Marshall Fund of the United States. Originally from Germany, she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Law at the University of Muenster, and graduated from the University of St Andrews with a Masters in Peace and Conflict Studies. Afterwards she lived in Russia and worked at the Moscow German Newspaper. Additionally, she co-edits a current affairs blog, The PACT Online, and contributes to a selection of international political outlets.
