James Guild is a PhD Candidate in Political Economy at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies in Singapore. He is researching economic growth and development in Southeast Asia, with a focus on Indonesia.

Prior to committing himself to academia, James spent 5+ years in the corporate world, managing commercial and industrial real estate portfolios throughout Southern California.
