Jeevethan Selvachandran holds a Master of Arts in Asian Studies (India and South Asia Studies) from Aarhus University, Denmark, where he also completed a Bachelor of Arts in India and South Asia Studies. His research interests are focused on socio-cultural and socio-political events in India and Sri Lanka.

He has previously written articles about issues in India and South Asia for the The Diplomat, Asiapunkt in Norway and FokusKina in Sweden.
