Joanna Laidler

Joanna Laidler has worked as a solicitor at the North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency (NAAJA) since January 2015. Located in the civil team, Joanna’s casework includes child protection, police complaints, and representing people before the Alcohol Mandatory Treatment Tribunal.

From February to April 2017, Joanna completed a visiting fellowship with the Social Justice Network at the University of Sydney. Her research concerned the recent history of NT alcohol policies, including Alcohol Mandatory Treatment and the Banned Drinker Register.
