Joanna Pradela is the Director of Policy and Advocacy at the Australian Council for International Development.

She has been the Head of Policy and Advocacy at the Council since 2013.  Prior to this, Ms Pradela had a decade of experience in the overseas aid and development sector specialising in humanitarian response, women’s empowerment, sexual and reproductive health and rights, education, and philanthropy and social justice. She holds Master’s degrees in Diplomacy and International Relations.
