Joyce Wu is a lecturer at the Applied Anthropology & Participatory Development (MAAPD) program at ANU, and International Development at the University of Canberra.
She recently completed her PhD at the Regulatory Institutions Network (RegNet) at the College of Asia & the Pacific at ANU.
Prior to academic studies, Joyce worked in the field of gender and development with organisations including UN Women and the Australian Government, as well as women’s NGOs on violence against women.
She is also a research consultant in gender issues, with special interest in violence against women and working with men.
