Julie-Anne Tarr

Professor Julie-Ann Tarr has senior administrative and research experience at international levels with particular focus on complex project management, contracting, intellectual property commercialisation, and joint ventures. She has served on numerous Boards for startups, healthcare management and biomedical research.

Prior to joining QUT, she was General Manager/COO for the Queensland institute of Medical Research, Executive Manager of USP Solutions and Director of Queensland’s Litigation Reform Commission.

Professor Tarr has held appointments in Law at Indiana University, University of Queensland and Monash. She has published extensively in high ranking journals including Nature Biotechnology, the Federal Law Review, Sydney Law Review and Cambrige’s Comparative Law Quarterly along with authoring numerous books, chapters and government reports.
