Katherine Murray is an intern at the Andrew & Renata Kaldor Centre for International Law and a paralegal at Clyde & Co.

Her academic career includes earning with Distinction a Bachelor of International Studies with a major in Global Studies from the University of New South Wales, and she is currently in her final semester of the Juris Doctor program, also at the University of New South Wales.

She aims to be admitted in NSW as a practicing solicitor next year. Katherine’s professional career has included acting as a tutor at the Indigenous Tutorial Assistance Program, assisting with protection visa applications for pro bono refugee clients, and performing as a clerk and then a paralegal at an international commercial law firm.

Her interests include international and domestic refugee law, human rights, international trade and administrative law.
