Kerri Viney

Dr Kerri Viney is a Sidney Sax Post Doctoral Research Fellow and Public Health Consultant currently based at the Karolinska Institutet’s Department of Public Health Sciences. Her home university is The Australian National University, with the Research School of Population Health.

Dr Viney leads policy relevant research programs on tuberculosis, operational research capacity building and patient costs, aligned to the End TB Strategy and the Sustainable Development Goals. She has previously worked for the World Health Organization’s Western Pacific Region Office and the Secretariat of the Pacific Community. She is a member of the World Health Organization’s TB patient cost survey taskforce, the Stop TB Partnership TB REACH Proposal Review Committee and she chairs the Executive Committee of the TB Forum, a registered Health Promotion Charity.

Dr Viney has a Master of Public Health, a Graduate Diploma of Applied Epidemiology and a PhD on international public health and epidemiology from The Australian National University.
