Kirsty O’Connell is Industry Director for the Next Generation Engagement Program – a globally unique research program hosted by the Australian National University which aims to transform the way the infrastructure sector understands and values engagement.

She is also Director of The Engagement People – a strategic advisory firm focused on enabling sustainable project development through best practice stakeholder engagement.

Kirsty is a community engagement and communications specialist with over two decades of experience in the infrastructure sector. During that time, she has led communication and engagement for more than $17 billion in transformational infrastructure projects.
