Professor Kristen Lyons is a public intellectual with over twenty years experience in research, teaching, and service that delivers national and international impacts on issues that sit at the intersection of sustainability, development, human, and including Indigenous rights.
Trained as a sociologist, Kristen frequently works in transdisciplinary teams; and her most recent work is focused in Uganda, Solomon Islands, and Australia. Kristen is based in the School of Social Science at the University of Queensland, and is also a Senior Research Fellow with the Oakland Institute.
