Leonid Petrov is a Visiting Fellow at The Australian National University in the School of Culture, History and Language. His research focuses on Asian history and international relations, Korean Language, and Asian cultural studies. He also teaches Cross-Cultural Management, Strategic Intelligence and other subjects at the International College of Management in Sydney.

Leonid holds a Master of Arts in Asian and African Studies from the Department of Oriental Studies at St Petersburg State University and a PhD in History examining the formation of North Korean official historiography from ANU.
