Lhawang Ugyel is a Lecturer at the School of Business at University of New South Wales, Canberra. From 2016 to 2018, he was a Lecturer at the Development Policy Centre of the Crawford School of Public Policy and a Visiting Lecturer in Public Policy at the University of Papua New Guinea.

Lhawang is also an Honorary Academic at the Policy and Governance Program at the Crawford School of Public Policy. And from July 2014 to June 2016, he was a Research Fellow at the Crawford School of Public Policy teaching into the Masters of Public Policy Program and conducting independent research.
