Professor Li Du, Ph.D in Economics, is the Executive Director of the Research Center for Public Economy and Academic Director of the Master of Taxation program at Fudan University. Her academic research focuses currently on the redistributive effects of taxation, the financial sector taxation and tax revenue forecasting.
She has published more than 40 books and articles on taxation including China Tax Guide (both in Chinese and English) and has been teaching courses on public finance, on China’s taxation system and on international taxation, both at undergraduate and graduate level. She has also served as a short-term consultant to the World Bank and a member of China Tax Education Research Association. From 2016-2017, she was a postdoctoral research fellow at IBFD.
