Liam Grealy

Liam is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Gender and Cultural Studies at the University of Sydney. His research examines governmental policy and practices in a number of fields, including media classification, preventive detention, higher degree research supervision, and the policing of alcohol consumption.

Liam has a forthcoming article in Sites: A Journal of Social Anthropology and Cultural Studies on the Northern Territory’s “paperless arrests” scheme, which allows police to arrest individuals for a range of low-level alcohol offences and public safety concerns.
