Dr Mark A Gregory is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Engineering at RMIT University.

Dr Gregory is a Fellow of Engineers Australia, a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc (IEEE), Managing Editor of the Australian Journal of Telecommunications and the Digital Economy and General Co-Chair of the International Telecommunication Networks and Applications Conference.

His academic career includes being awarded an Australian Learning and Teaching Council Citation in 2009 for outstanding teaching, co-authoring the book titled “Security and the Networked Society” (Springer 2013) and he maintains a focus on telecommunications, security, privacy and technical risk.

In 1996 Mark developed a reliability app called “Service Monitor” that subsequently led to a Microsoft version that is now included with Microsoft Windows.

Mark’s career has included a term as chair of an industry working group, expert witness, company director, and industry consultant.
