Martyn Pearce was Editor of Policy Forum from 2014-2021, presenter and producer of the podcast series Policy Forum Pod and Executive Producer of the Democracy Sausage podcast.

He is a former journalist, television researcher and newspaper editor. He has a keen interest in sports policy in the region, particularly China’s football ambitions, and is a member of the China Soccer Observatory at the University of Nottingham. In addition to a love of public policy, he is a lifelong fan of Crystal Palace.
