Md Roushon Jamal is a PhD Fellow at the University of New England and a Civil Service Officer for the Bangladesh Government. His research focuses on rice security issues in Bangladesh.

Working in the Department of Agricultural Extension, under the Ministry of Agriculture, Roushon contributes to policy-making in sustainable agriculture, rural development, and integrated farming. He is a regular contributor to newspapers, other media outlets, and academic journals on food security issues, both nationally and internationally.
