Michael Cornish is a Senior Policy Adviser to federal MP Ms Rebekha Sharkie. He has variously been a lecturer in economics, social sciences and international politics with the University of Adelaide, the Crawford School of Public Policy at the Australian National University, and the University of Papua New Guinea. He is a development economist and conflict management specialist. Michael’s consultancy and project management roles have ranged across organisations that include the OECD, APEC, ASEAN, AusAID/DFAT, CSIRO, and the United Nations.
