Olivia is a student of International Security Studies and Arts at The Australian National University, she is interested in how gender plays a role within the current political climate.

Olivia is in the third year of her degree, she has written for the ASEAN-Australia Youth Partnership, HerCanberra and The Monsoon Project. She is extremely interested in how different countries within the Asia-Pacific approach gender and has done research in Vietnam on this issue.

Olivia plans on working in this field at Yogyakarta, Indonesia in a summer internship and then on exchange in Seoul, South Korea during 2020. She hopes to continue working in the field of either media or political writing/research when she completes her degree.
