Phillip Guerreiro is a PhD candidate focused on international relations at Florida International University (FIU).

Phillip’s research interests include environmental politics, Chinese and East Asian foreign policy, hydro-power politics, and critical reflections on relations between people, the state, and the environment. His current research is on Chinese domestic and international motivations for hydropower development in the downstream Mekong Basin.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in international relations and a Master of Arts in Asian studies, both from FIU.
