Phoebe Hayman is a PhD candidate and casual academic in politics at La Trobe University.

Phoebe’s current research focuses on the political participation of independent candidates in the 2022 federal election, with a focus on the role and motivations of supporters. Her Master’s thesis was on the role and development of field campaigning in Australian election campaigns, using the case study of the Australian Greens between 2008 and 2021.
