Qihui Chen

Dr Qihui Chen is an assistant professor of applied economics in the College of Economics and Management at the China Agricultural University (CAU).

He received his PhD degree in Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota in 2012. He also holds a MA degree in Economics and a BS degree in Urban and Regional Planning, both from Peking University.

Prior to joining the faculty of CAU, Dr. Chen worked as a short-term consultant for the CLEAR initiative of the World Bank.

His current research examines the determinants of human capital accumulation (e.g. familial resources, family configuration, school policies and interventions, etc.) in both developed and developing countries.
