Ruth O’Connor

Ruth O’Connor is the Knowledge Exchange Specialist of the Climate Change Institute at The Australian National University. Ruth’s role is to facilitate the strengthening of links between climate change researchers and end-users of their research.

Ruth’s interests include exploring mechanisms to bring together researcher and professional expertise to address complex societal issues, and evaluation of those processes. Ruth recently completed a PhD at the Centre for the Public Awareness of Science at ANU which explored the values of knowledge co-production processes from the perspective of environmental managers. She has also worked for over ten years as a knowledge broker in multidisciplinary environmental research groups.
