Sahara Piang Brahim is a PhD Candidate at the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Her current research interests include water governance, adaptive governance and the relationship between politics and policymaking. She is specifically looking at the politics of urban water governance in the Philippines.
She completed her Master of Asian Studies degree at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and her bachelor’s degree in Social Science – Area Studies at the University of the Philippines Manila. She is an experienced researcher and was involved in a number of research undertakings in New Zealand, Singapore and the Philippines.
