Dr Sanghyun Hong is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, supported by an ARC Australian Laureate Fellowship in the Dynamics of Eco-Evolutionary Patterns (D.E.E.P.) research group at University of Tasmania. Dr Hong’s research topic focuses on sectoral analyses of energy/fuels and urbanisation, as well as model-based integration of outputs from complementary research streams.
Before Dr Hong joined the D.E.E.P group, he worked in the University of Birmingham, the U.K., as an Energy Storage Research Fellow. He has an interest in the inter-relationship between human acts and environmental changes, and hopes to find an answer to the question: ‘how can human and the environment survive together?’. His main publications appeared in Sustainability, Energy policy, Applied Energy and other academic journals.
