Shreya Upadhyay has a PhD from School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University in the field of US Area Studies and public policy.
She served as a Nehru-Fulbright pre-doctoral scholar with American University, Washington DC in the academic year 2015-2016. Shreya has worked as a researcher with the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies and a consultant with a Member of Indian Parliament.
She also worked as a journalist with the United News of India, and lobbied with a national level advocacy body WomenPowerConnect. She has taught courses on ‘Indian History & Politics’ and ‘US Governance & Policy’ to undergraduate students at Ansal University, Gurgaon. Her research interests involve public policy, foreign policy, risk mitigation, and good governance.
