Simi Mehta holds a PhD from the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi in United States Studies. She was a Fulbright-Nehru Doctoral Research Fellow at Ohio State University during 2015-16 and specialised in Strategic Studies.
Her areas of research include US and India’s agriculture and foreign policies, international security studies, sustainable development, climate change, gender justice, urban environment and food security.
She has a number of international and national publications to her credit including Huffington Post, Greater Kashmir and the SAIS Review of International Affairs of the John Hopkins University. Dr Mehta currently teaches Political Science at University of Delhi.
