Singfat Chu teaches at the Business School, National University of Singapore.

From his native Mauritius, Singfat Chu went to Canada where he earned a BSc(Hons) in Statistics at Queen’s University and a PhD in Business Statistics at the University of British Columbia. Thereafter, he joined the Business School, National University of Singapore where he is now Associate Professor. He teaches Business Analytics core courses to MBA and EMBA students.

For the past 15 years, Singfat’s research focus has been on Singapore’s Vehicle Quota System (VQS). His publications pertain to the efficiency, equity, pricing, quota formulation aspects of the VQS and their influence on public transport.
