Suzi Kerr is a Senior Fellow at Motu Economic and Public Policy Research, a non-profit research institute in New Zealand. She is also an Adjunct Professor at Victoria University.
She graduated from Harvard University in 1995 with a PhD in Economics. She was the founding Director of Motu and has held visiting positions at MIT, Stanford and the University of the Andes in Colombia.
She currently focuses on climate change policy, particularly emissions trading, agricultural emissions and forests, and also leads part of the Deep South National Science Challenge on the Impacts and Implications of Climate Change. She is recognised for her facilitation of constructive, well-informed multi-stakeholder dialogue on environmental issues.
