Teck Chi Wong is currently a research assistant at the Tax and Transfer Policy Institute, ANU. He received his Master of Public Policy (specialising in Economic Policy) from Crawford School, ANU and his Bachelor of Accounting from University of Malaya.

Before doing his Master at the ANU, Teck Chi was a journalist with Malaysiakini (Malaysia) for 8 years.
