Thaneshwar Bhusal has recently completed his PhD from the Institute for Governance and Policy Analysis (IGPA), University of Canberra, Australia. Soon after his graduation in 2018, he has been given an honorary position as professional associate for two years at the IGPA.

Currently, he is working as a middle-ranked career bureaucrat in the Nepalese civil service. Dr Bhusal is interested in citizen participation, intergovernmental relations and political and administrative reforms in developing countries. He has published a number of articles in different newspapers, blogs and in peer-reviewed journals. His works can be accessed through Google scholar.
