Udayan Das

Udayan Das is a Research Assistant at the Netaji Institute for Asian Studies, Kolkata, India. He received his Master’s Degree in Political Science with International Relations from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India.

Udayan has been a former Oral History Apprentice at The 1947 Partition Archive, where he interviewed and collected accounts of partition survivors of the subcontinent. He has also been associated with educational initiatives like The History Project and the Dreamfly.

His research interests include India’s Foreign Policy along with contemporary strategic and political issues pertaining to the sub-continent.

He is presently working on a documentation project which studies the evolution of India-Nepal relations through print media.
