Yana Rodgers is the Faculty Director of the Center for Women and Work at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
She holds a dual appointment as Professor of Labor Studies and Employment Relations and Professor of Women’s and Gender Studies. Her book, The Global Gag Rule and Women’s Reproductive Health: Rhetoric Versus Reality, was published by Oxford University Press in 2018. Rodgers has worked regularly as a consultant for the World Bank, the United Nations, and the Asian Development Bank, and she was President of the International Association for Feminist Economics. She holds a PhD in Economics from Harvard University.
