Climate Update 2018 will present an overview of how our climate is changing and how we’re responding to these changes. You’ll hear from experts, practitioners and leading commentators from across Australia.
Part 1 will summarise the latest climate research, including a snapshot of newly released global 2017 climate data and modelling for Queensland.
Part 2 will move to policy responses, both federally and at a state level.
Part 3 will discuss responses across different sectors, including tourism and finance.
The event will bring together climate researchers, students, policymakers, industry, media and the public, with opportunities for audience questions at the end of each session.
Registration starts from 3.30pm.
